It operates on two AA alkaline batteries. It can also be powered using the separately sold AC adapter EDC-323 with an AC100V power source. When using the AC adapter, it is no longer dustproof or splash-proof. If installed outdoors, please protect it with a resin waterproof case, as metal cases cannot be used because they block signals. It can be charged via the USB connector with the separately sold DC cable UA0105. It can also be charged from the car's DC12V/24V cigarette lighter power source using the cigarette DC/DC converter EDH-33.
